Smirnoff Vodka and Cranberry
Firstly I am a sucker for some nice packaging and the new design is wonderfully summery with its fruity pop colours, compared to its dull grey original. The drink costs a little more than most alternatives but unlike its cheaper counterparts it does not have that sickly-sweet taste, making you feel a little ill after 1 can. The good news is that I only need around 2 to start feeling merry and it is easily available in most corner shops and supermarkets.
Alcohol content: 4/5
We have all been in a situation where we took too long to get ready and find ourselves on public transport, on our way out and without having had time to pre drink. Well here we review the best pre mixed bevs to get you on your way and save you buying twice as many drinks in the club.
Harry Bromptons London Iced Tea with Vodka Skinny Peach Flavour
Content: 4% Vol
Cost: £2 (usually in a 3 for £5 deal)
To kick this segment off I am introducing one of my top suggestions for pre mixed cans. Now we all know that day drinking can amount to a pretty calorific weekend and spirits and mixers can be some of the worst drinks, so for those on a shred you should know that Harry Brompton’s pre-mixed cans are only 90 cal. Now out of all the iced tea flavours I’d say the peach is my favourite but they are very sweet and after about 2 cans it can get a little sickly. Compared to alternatives I would say the cans don’t boast a very high alcohol content (at least one you would notice) and so you would definitely need a handful to start feeling a bit merry, therefore I would say these cans are perfect for those BBQ in the park days when you want something a little stronger than cider.
