With more choice available for something to do on a Friday night than ever before, consumers are seeking more exclusive experiences that they will struggle to find elsewhere and Putney Luxe Odeon offers just that.
Now don’t get me wrong, the lobby and the food is nothing out of the ordinary when it comes to your standard Odeon but do not let that put you off, the experience really begins in the screen room. I was already delighted that the rooms seat a smaller quantity of viewers, (so less chance of disturbances and snack packet rustling during the film) the cinema offers plenty of legroom plus gloriously comfortable reclining chairs that enable a little more space between you and your neighbours, complete with a rotating side table for your drinks and snacks, I would personally recommend the nachos and cheese. The large curved screen takes advantage of our round eyes peripheral vision, providing a more immersive viewing experience and I definitely noticed the difference. The cinemas location is also spot on for a Friday night, being only a short walk from Putney Bridge station meanwhile boasting a fantastic offering of restaurants, bars and pubs at a close distance. All in all for the same cost as a regular Odeon, I will definitely be returning to Putney Luxe for its executive experience for my next film.
